Coastline Community College has an international reputation as one of the nation's most innovative institutions. Founded in 1976, Coastline continues to deliver education through technology and a comprehensive curriculum. Unlike other colleges, Coastline does not have a traditional campus. Instead, instruction is offered at approximately 50 sites throughout the Coast Community College District. These teaching sites include banks, senior centers, high schools, office buildings, shopping malls, and many other facilities.

Located in the coastal community of Huntington Beach, in Southern California, Golden West College is part of the California Community College system and was founded in 1965. On 120 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, GWC serves 13,000 students and is considered a medium-size, two-year college. GWC provides an Associate degree in most subjects, a strong university transfer program, in addition to a wide variety of short-term vocational [Certificate] options-- offering over 60 major areas. It provides a safe and secure location, a multicultural environment, an active student body and is proud of its newly developed honors program. The college is highly regarded for academic quality and innovation. In its earliest years, the college was recognized for its pioneering leadership in designing learning-centered programs and services for its student body and continues in that tradition to this day.

Orange Coast College was founded in 1948 with an initial enrollment of 500 students. The campus is located in Costa Mesa, CA. Since 1948, OCC has become one of the largest and respected community colleges in the nation, with more than 28,000 students enrolled in classes each semester.
OCC offers more than 130 academic and career programs, including one of the best public nautical programs in the country. In addition, OCC is dedicated to providing highly skilled technical workers for the workplace in California. Nearly half of the students enrolled in classes at OCC are in one of the many career and technical programs.
Among the nine community colleges in Orange County, OCC ranks first in the number of students that transfer to either the California State University (CSU) or University of California (UC) systems. Many other students at OCC transfer to private colleges and universities both within California and across the country.
